Garlic – DPW 10 Minute Challenge

The DPW Challenge was to paint the same subject quickly, multiple times.

Each painting is about 4″ square. With only 10 minutes per painting, I was forced to mix colors quickly and leave things when they were not coming out right.garlic
These are my two favorites. The one on the right, especially, came out looking 3 dimensional.

I added the shadows in the last few seconds and they look awful… have to work on that.
