’Twas the morn’ of the reading challenge and all through the house,
The books were laid out by me and my spouse
We placed snacks in bowls on the table with care
Knowing the start time soon would be here.
The children were nestled all snug with their books
While visions of kings and ghosts danced on their Nooks
And I with my kindle and a book about flowers,
Settled down to begin reading for 48 hours.
