Poetry Friday Earlybirds — UPDATED

*** Update ****
Thank you, all you early birds. My post will be slightly delayed this morning because my son lost his custom mouthguard yesterday at a park and I need to go search the park for his $#*^#$ mouthguard.

At 9am the post will go live with all the links from you lovely early birds. THANK YOU!

Hi, Katya. Good luck finding that mouth guard. (We were “rescued” once by a nice movie theater manager who found my son’s missing retainer on the theater floor.)

Today, I am featuring the release of The Collected Poems of Lucille Clifton, 1965-2010. This book will blow you away because of the depth and breadth of Clifton’s work. A writing prompt for MS/HS students is included.
